COBE Berlin with Man Made Land and Knippers Helbig receive a 1st prize in the international competition for Berlin´s Urbane Mitte am Gleisdreieck.

The “Urbane Mitte” will be integrated into the neighbouring existing structures: entrances, transitional areas and gateways to the park will create spatial relationships that foster communication and take advantage of synergies.

COBE Berlin in cooperation with Christiane Sörensen Landschaftsarchitekten, Hoffmann Leichter, Raumscript and Transsolar are commissioned to develop the “Leitbild” for Bremen’s station area.

 

Over the next year, the interdisciplinary team will frame a vision for the development of this central area in the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen. A participatory process will help including the knowledge and preferences of the city’s citizens, administration and companies.

 

The kick off is November 2nd.

URBAN LIVING Strategies for the Future – Exhibition at CAOM, Madrid

 

The exhibition presents future strategies for affordable urban housing concepts as result of the international Urban Living workshop in 2014, COBE was partcipating in.

 

The Senate Department for Urban Development and the Environment Berlin, together with the Deutsche Botschaft Madrid, will be showing the URBAN LIVING exhibition at the CAOM (Center For Architecture Madrid) in Madrid, on the occasion of the International Architecture Festival.
